Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reuben, from Twelve Tribes of Israel by Salvador Dalí was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August this year. It achieved a price of USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,657.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Dalí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Paul Éluard in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,481,250.00 (€ 15,879,784.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Reuben, from Twelve Tribes of Israel von Salvador Dalí kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 2.880,00 (€ 2.657,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salvador Dalí erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait De Paul Éluard im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.481.250,00 (€ 15.879.784,58).
