Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two plates, from Purgatory, Canto 11, from The Divine Comedy (2 works) by Salvador Dalí was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in August this year. The price achieved of USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,771.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,800.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salvador Dalí achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait De Paul Éluard in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 13,481,250.00 (€ 15,879,784.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two plates, from Purgatory, Canto 11, from The Divine Comedy (2 works) von Salvador Dalí kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion.
