Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Bonhams held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Composition In Blue, Black And Yellow by Serge Poliakoff. The price achieved of GBP 2,048.00 (€ 2,383.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Serge Poliakoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge bleu jaune in September 2018 with an auction result of CNY 7,560,000.00 (€ 947,114.09).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Composition In Blue, Black And Yellow von Serge Poliakoff zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.048,00 (€ 2.383,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Serge Poliakoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge bleu jaune im September 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 7.560.000,00 (€ 947.114,09).
