The work Victoire de Samothrace by Yves Klein was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. It achieved a price of USD 214,200.00 (€ 201,051.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yves Klein achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) in June last year with an auction result of GBP 27,197,000.00 (€ 31,595,177.57).

Die Arbeit Victoire de Samothrace von Yves Klein kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 214.200,00 (€ 201.051,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yves Klein erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anthropométrie de l’époque bleue, (ANT 124) (Anthropometry of the Blue Period), (ANT 124)) im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 27.197.000,00 (€ 31.595.177,57).
