Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Neuschwanstein (see F. & S. 372) by Andy Warhol was auctioned at Phillips in London in January 2024. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 33,020.00 (€ 55,264.20). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
