Auction result well in line with expectations
The work CND Soldiers by Banksy was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. The price achieved of USD 35,840.00 (€ 33,913.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Banksy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Love is in the Bin in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 18,582,000.00 (€ 22,014,651.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit CND Soldiers von Banksy kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 35.840,00 (€ 33.913,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Banksy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Love is in the Bin im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.582.000,00 (€ 22.014.651,32).
