It achieved a price of USD 5,120.00 (€ 4,844.81), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Sultan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Battery May 5, 1986 in February 2019 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 76,896.04).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.120,00 (€ 4.844,81) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Sultan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Battery May 5, 1986 im Februar 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 76.896,04).
