This artwork by Enoc Pérez achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May last year. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Untitled (Bather) sold for USD 32,760.00 (€ 30,528.38) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Enoc Pérez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Havana Riviera Hotel, La Havana, Cuba in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 302,895.50).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Enoc Pérez erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Bather) für USD 32.760,00 (€ 30.528,38) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enoc Pérez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Havana Riviera Hotel, La Havana, Cuba im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 302.895,50).
