Auction result well in line with expectations
The work One Plate, From La Théogonie D'Hèsiode by Georges Braque was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. The price achieved of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,340.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Braque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage À La Ciotat in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,845,000.00 (€ 12,199,722.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit One Plate, From La Théogonie D'Hèsiode von Georges Braque kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.340,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Braque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage À La Ciotat im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.845.000,00 (€ 12.199.722,82).
