In February 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art, which included the work Bather On Reflection by Graham Nickson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 45,600.00 (€ 34,467.12), 52% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Bather On Reflection the most expensive artwork by Graham Nickson that we have observed at auctions so far.
