Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Imi Knoebel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Revolver I in April 2017 with an auction result of EUR 434,500.00.

Die Arbeit Face 88 Ed. von Imi Knoebel kam im Januar 2024 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.445,00 (€ 7.439,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Imi Knoebel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Revolver I im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 434.500,00.
