The work Pop Shop I: one plate (L. p. 83) by Keith Haring was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in London in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,320.00 (€ 23,648.98), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).

Die Arbeit Pop Shop I: one plate (L. p. 83) von Keith Haring wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.320,00 (€ 23.648,98) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
