Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Tel and Tel (Flint 235) by Louis Lozowick for USD 687.50 (€ 494.82). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples Including Property from The Collection of Max Palevsky at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louis Lozowick achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pittsburgh in November 2008 with an auction result of USD 386,500.00 (€ 304,474.55).
