The work Women by Richard Prince was auctioned at Phillips in London in June this year. It achieved a price of GBP 1,651.00 (€ 1,921.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Prince achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Runaway Nurse in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 93,986,000.00 (€ 10,209,316.51).

Die Arbeit Women von Richard Prince kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.651,00 (€ 1.921,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Prince erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Runaway Nurse im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 93.986.000,00 (€ 10.209.316,51).
