Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Terry Winters was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September last year. The price achieved of USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,606.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Terry Winters achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Graphic Primitives 1 in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 240,000.00 (€ 178,398.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Terry Winters kam im September letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.606,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Terry Winters erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Graphic Primitives 1 im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 240.000,00 (€ 178.398,87).
