Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Christies in New York held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Online / Parrot by Urs Fischer. The price achieved of USD 250,000.00 (€ 221,493.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Urs Fischer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Lamp/Bear) in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 4,731,844.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Online / Parrot von Urs Fischer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 221.493,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Urs Fischer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Lamp/Bear) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.802.500,00 (€ 4.731.844,74).
