Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Les voiliers (The Sailboats) by Zao Wou-Ki was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 4,096.00 (€ 3,875.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zao Wou-Ki achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 29.09.64. in May last year with an auction result of HKD 278,000,000.00 (€ 33,004,566.21).
