In May this year Christies in New York held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Meeting Man by Bob Thompson. The »bidding war« ended at USD 327,600.00 (€ 307,490.14), 64% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Meeting Man the most expensive artwork by Bob Thompson that we have observed at auctions so far.
