Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Juba by Charles White was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 5,737.50 (€ 4,955.95) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Charles White achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ye Shall Inherit The Earth in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,760,000.00 (€ 1,597,241.13).
