In March 2016 Christies in New York held the auction FIRST OPEN | Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work The Revolution Collage by Joseph Kosuth. The »bidding war« ended at USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,559.26), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Kosuth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ‘Titled (A.A.I.A.I.)’ [text-context|AID1046897] in November last year with an auction result of USD 289,800.00 (€ 280,732.35).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ‘Titled (A.A.I.A.I.)’ [text-context|AID1046897] im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 289.800,00 (€ 280.732,35).
