Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Acrobats) by Keith Haring was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 915,000.00 (€ 769,036.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Keith Haring have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Acrobats) von Keith Haring kam im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 915.000,00 (€ 769.036,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 700.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Keith Haring auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
