Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Keith Haring achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June this year. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Untitled (Recent Work Invitation) sold for GBP 6,350.00 (€ 7,390.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Keith Haring achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 6,537,500.00 (€ 5,818,351.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Keith Haring erzielte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Recent Work Invitation) für GBP 6.350,00 (€ 7.390,31) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Keith Haring erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 6.537.500,00 (€ 5.818.351,73).
