Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples, which included the work The Small Hours (diptych), from What is the Shape of this Problem? Series by Louise Bourgeois. The price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,752.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Louise Bourgeois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spider in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 32,055,000.00 (€ 28,751,457.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Small Hours (diptych), from What is the Shape of this Problem?
