Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Les Belles Et La Bête I & Ii by Peter Milton for USD 1,375.00 (€ 1,301.84). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,800.00 – 2,400.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Peter Milton have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2015 by the work Daylilies (Mcnulty 96) at USD 2,375.00 (€ 2,248.63).
