Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled, from Inside World by Richard Prince was auctioned at Phillips in London in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,524.00 (€ 1,524.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Prince achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Runaway Nurse in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 93,986,000.00 (€ 10,209,316.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled, from Inside World von Richard Prince kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.524,00 (€ 1.524,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Prince erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Runaway Nurse im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 93.986.000,00 (€ 10.209.316,51).
