Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work And Then...All Things Good and Bad. All Days Fine and Rough; and And then and then and then and then and then by Takashi Murakami was auctioned at Phillips in London in September this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 826.00 (€ 826.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takashi Murakami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Lonesome Cowboy in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 15,161,000.00 (€ 9,743,573.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit And Then...All Things Good and Bad. All Days Fine and Rough; and And then and then and then and then and then von Takashi Murakami im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
