Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Antony Gormley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in September this year. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Horizon Field sold for GBP 6,985.00 (€ 6,985.00) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antony Gormley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Case for an Angel I in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 5,296,250.00 (€ 6,038,761.70).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antony Gormley erzielte im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Evening & Day Editions wurde die Arbeit Horizon Field für GBP 6.985,00 (€ 6.985,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antony Gormley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Case for an Angel I im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 5.296.250,00 (€ 6.038.761,70).
