In May 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Prints, which included the work Le Styrge; And L'Abside De Notre Dame De Paris (Delteil & Wright 23 And 38) by Charles Meryon. It changed hands for a price of USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,293.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Charles Meryon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2006 the work La Morgue (D., W. 36; S. 42) was auctioned for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,533.66).
