Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work Two Jemimas by Faith Ringgold. It changed hands for a price of USD 187,500 (€ 166,993) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 150,000 - 200,000. Other works by Faith Ringgold have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2018 the work Listen To The Trees was auctioned for USD 375,000 (€ 322,664).

Im März 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Jemimas von Faith Ringgold zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 187.500 (€ 166.993) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 150.000 – 200.000. Andere Arbeiten von Faith Ringgold konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im September 2018 die Arbeit Listen To The Trees für USD 375.000 (€ 322.664) versteigert.
