Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (and 2 Hold) by Jimmy Ong was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 5,979.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jimmy Ong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nelli'S Dowry, which sold at auction in April 2008 for HKD 223,500.00 (€ 18,419.23).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (and 2 Hold) von Jimmy Ong kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 5.979,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Jimmy Ong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nelli'S Dowry beobachtet, die im April 2008 für HKD 223.500,00 (€ 18.419,23) versteigert wurde.
