Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jo Baer was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2008. The price achieved of USD 46,875.00 (€ 36,926.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jo Baer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May this year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 307,490.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jo Baer kam im November 2008 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 46.875,00 (€ 36.926,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jo Baer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 307.490,14).
