Estimated price slightly exceeded
The work From: The Story of the Exodus by Marc Chagall was sold in the Kunst des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts/ Maritime Kunst auction at Ketterer in March 2006. Here, the estimate of EUR 1,400.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,547.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit From: The Story of the Exodus von Marc Chagall wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion Kunst des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts/ Maritime Kunst bei Ketterer versteigert. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 1.400,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.547,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
