Upper estimate price exceeded by 28 %.
In November last year Bonhams in New York held the auction Modern & Contemporary Prints & Multiples, which included the work School Days Suite by Norman Rockwell. The »bidding war« ended at USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,852.66), 28% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Norman Rockwell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Saying Grace in December 2013 with an auction result of USD 46,085,000.00 (€ 33,445,823.35).
