Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Night Before Last by Tom Burr was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in February 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 22,748.26) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Tom Burr have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2018 the work The Night Before Last was auctioned for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,079.69).

Die Arbeit The Night Before Last von Tom Burr wurde im Februar 2014 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 22.748,26) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
