Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2018 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Huma Bhabha for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,058.44). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Huma Bhabha achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 200,000.00 (€ 178,126.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2018 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Huma Bhabha für USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.058,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Huma Bhabha erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 200.000,00 (€ 178.126,11).
