The work Formulation: Articulation (D. appx. C) by Josef Albers was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 15,240.00 (€ 13,804.35), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Albers achieve.
