Leiris, Paris, 1969), with wide margins, a pale stain in the right margin, a few soft handling creases and a minute foxmark in the lower right margin corner, otherwise in very good condition, framed

The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,211.72), 67% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.211,72) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen.
