The work Door (A. pp. 28-29) by Richard Artschwager was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April this year. It achieved a price of USD 3,302.00 (€ 2,990.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Richard Artschwager achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior with Sideboard I in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,272,000.00 (€ 945,514.01).

Die Arbeit Door (A. pp. 28-29) von Richard Artschwager kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 3.302,00 (€ 2.990,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 32%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Richard Artschwager erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interior with Sideboard I im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.272.000,00 (€ 945.514,01).
