The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,175.32) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Anastasi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled III (Abandoned Painting) in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 242,500.00 (€ 186,023.32).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.175,32) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Anastasi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled III (Abandoned Painting) im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 242.500,00 (€ 186.023,32).
