Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean (Hans) Arp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Déméter in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 5,825,000.00 (€ 5,144,396.36).

Die Arbeit Voilier VI, from Le Voilier dans la forêt (Sailboat VI, from The Sailboat in the Forest) (A. 220) von Jean (Hans) Arp kam im April diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.397,00 (€ 1.265,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 55%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jean (Hans) Arp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Déméter im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.825.000,00 (€ 5.144.396,36).
