Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red with White Triangle by Carmen Herrera was sold in the Evening & Day Editions auction at Phillips in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,618.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Carmen Herrera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Blanco Y Verde in March 2019 with an auction result of USD 2,900,000.00 (€ 2,582,828.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Red with White Triangle von Carmen Herrera wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.618,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Carmen Herrera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Blanco Y Verde im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.900.000,00 (€ 2.582.828,64).
