Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Dust Breeding (on Judd) by Cornelia Parker for USD 441.00 (€ 378.64). This price was achieved in the auction Editions & Works on Paper at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cornelia Parker achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Alter Ego (Mutiny) in July 2015 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 46,074.08).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Dust Breeding (on Judd) von Cornelia Parker für USD 441,00 (€ 378,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cornelia Parker erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Alter Ego (Mutiny) im Juli 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 46.074,08).
