Artwork auctioned at six times the upper estimate price
The work Parrot by Fernando Botero was worth USD 1,865,000.00 (€ 1,709,754.31) to a buyer in November this year. This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 300,000.00 many times over.
