Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 Phillips in New York held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Dishonorable Discharge by Hilary Harkness. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,426.76). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hilary Harkness achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Deep Roll Dive in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 157,500.00 (€ 139,541.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dishonorable Discharge von Hilary Harkness zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.426,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hilary Harkness erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Deep Roll Dive im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.500,00 (€ 139.541,06).
