In July 2015 Christies in New York held the auction First Impression, which included the work The Morning After (New York) by Nick Walker. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,500.00 (€ 3,173.74), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Nick Walker have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Moona Lisa in March 2009 with an auction result of GBP 18,750.00 (€ 20,219.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Im Juli 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Impression durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Morning After (New York) von Nick Walker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.500,00 (€ 3.173,74) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nick Walker auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Moona Lisa im März 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.750,00 (€ 20.219,06).
